History

The first and second Continental Congresses occurred in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's capital, between 1774 and 1775. Due to this, the Declaration of Independence occurred, ultimately leading to the American Revolution.

• Hershey, Pennsylvania 

Initially constructed in 1906 as a relaxation place for Hershey's employees, the park has since grown to draw tourists from all over the world. •  Presque Isle State Park

Presque Isle State Park, one of the best recreational areas in Pennsylvania, is situated on a peninsula that extends into Lake Erie and forms Presque Isle Bay, a significant hub for trade and transportation. The park is open every day of the year and has a lot to offer, such as 11 kilometers of shoreline and several hiking paths.

• Philadelphia Museum of Art

One of the biggest art collections in America is housed in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a local landmark. The "Rocky" movies featured the museum's front stairs, with a magnificent view of Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the iconic City Hall tower from the top of these steps.

• Eastern State Penitentiary

The Eastern State Penitentiary combines the old and modern, with industrial stone walls standing above blocks of stone representing a medieval castle rather than a jail. As magnificent as the structure itself is, which has remained essentially untouched since it was shut down in 1971, are the tales and legends surrounding this enormous institution. 

The building, which was constructed in 1829, is especially fascinating for photography because of its long hallways and ceilings.

• Pennsylvania State Capitol

The State Capitol Complex in Harrisburg has operational government facilities and several tourist attractions. The Capitol Building is made of Vermont granite, and its entrance is protected by two bronze doors. The building's dome, which measures 52 million pounds and was modeled after Rome's Cathedral of St. Peter. You can enjoy tours of the Capitol Building by scheduling in advance.
